As I begin writing this entry, I'm not exactly sure how it is going to end. I am in the midst of a battle with a web site. I am ticked-off at myself because I fell into a trap that we've warned people about in the pages of our Bottom Line/Personal newsletter. But thanks to other articles we have published, at least I have taken the right steps to protect myself.

It saddens me to see how many people I know are struggling in their relationships with their parents. And I don't mean youngsters. These are all people in their mid-40's or older so they have been suffering a very long time. It is heartbreaking to witness... and sad to know that these people are just a microcosm of the country and that there are millions of others in similar situations.

Since suffering from a two-week dizzy spell three years ago (brought on by a week-long cruise), I've been shocked at how many other people I know suffer from dizzy spells. I'm thinking about this now because in the past two weeks, I have successfully helped two suffering friends with the method that cured me: the Epley maneuver.

It's the New Year, and my head is clearly in organizational mode. I'm cleaning up my desk at work...and, with my family, cleaning up the accumulated clutter around our home.
