Over the past several weeks, I've entered upon a number of conversations where people were complaining about their allergies. With all of the rain here in the northeast this spring, it's been terrible for seasonal allergy sufferers. Most people talk about the over-the-counter medications that they're taking (such as Claritin and Zyrtec), and how they're not working well enough for them. And the coverage in the mainstream media isn't providing any better solutions.

I met a man at a conference a few weeks ago who was very eager to meet me because he's been such a loyal fan of our Bottom Line/Personal newsletter.

I've never studied this academically, nor taken any formal polls, but all of the women I talk to agree on when they find their husbands at their absolute sexiest. Any men reading this are probably thinking, "romantic dinner" or "walking hand-in-hand on the beach" or "double-bubble bath in an oversized tub" or fresh flowers or gifts of beautiful jewelry. These are each wonderful, tremendously appreciated and should certainly be encouraged, but they're not "it."

I've reached the age where it feels like every time I turn around, I hear about someone else diagnosed with cancer. With all of the information at my fingertips, I am always quick to volunteer my resources.

While spring officially started well over a month ago, I feel like it started today. It was my first day of digging in the dirt. I've been eyeing my garden for weeks, aching to get out there to prepare the beds for planting. After much anticipation... today was the day.
